October Snow

Snow, snow, snow and more snow! On Tuesday night it started snowing and the next morning we had quite a bit of snow on the ground, it continued to snow all day. School was canceled and the kids and I had an awesome day of doing nothing. Then Thursday rolled around and I realized that the furnace wasn't working! Thank heavens Nathan was home or I would have completely freaked out. Our neighbor came by and figured out what was wrong with the furnace. It needed a part! Friday school was canceled again. We all stayed pretty warm. I have been setting up camp in the living room. We just left the fireplace on all night and the kids were toasty warm. Nate and I had a space heater. Friday, during the day it warmed up, and with the fire on all day I thought we were going to die of heat stroke. It's Saturday now are house is toasty warm and the furnace guy just came and fixed the furnace in a matter of 15 minutes.
